Your holiday movie line up! My husband and I started this movie line up when we first got married and have added to it over the years. I don’t know about you but it is a little difficult getting my husband to watch any holiday movies, especially the ones on Hallmark that I want to see. But here are some of our favorites that your husband might actually enjoy!
This movie follows the Griswald family and their extended family for their line up of holiday traditions. It has so many laughs and for the most part is family friendly.
I will only watch the Home Alone movies that have the original cast…it just isn’t the same without them. This movie has a unique story line that brings to life the dream young kids have about having the house to themselves.
I was surprised that they were able to make a movie with a very similar story line so good but they did it! Home Alone 2 brings back all your favorite cast and shenanigans!
The sequel to Daddy’s Home, Daddy’s Home 2 is centered around blending families for the holidays and the cast is great!
I love the Santa Clause series and kinda wish they would come out with another one! Tim Allen plays a great sarcastic Santa and the humor in the movie only gets better as an adult
Santa Clause 2 doesn’t have as much adult humor but is still a great family movie.
The 3rd and last Santa Clause movie introduces an unlikely character, Jack Frost. The cast is wonderful in creating a unique story line and bringing laughs to the family.
The new Grinch is completely different than the Jim Carey version and the original cartoon version of the Grinch. It is great to see a fresh version…not my favorite but still a great movie to watch during the holidays.
I could watch the Elf movie every day! It has me laughing all the way through with Buddy’s childlike manner and introduction to the “human” world.
We watch all the Harry Potter movies (it was our generation!!). Some say they aren’t Christmas movies but most of them have a Christmas scene.
Love the Coopers is a more serious film but has an AMAZING cast and creative story. I love the drama, love stories and overall story it tells.
You can’t not watch the classics!
There are a lot of adaptations to A Christmas Carol but this one is our favorite (a cartoon, go figure)!
This movie is not kid friendly (haha) but is hilarious! An unique Christmas story about friends and their illegal traditions.
Four Christmases makes dysfunctional family Christmases funny! Following a couple that have to go to four family Christmases, there are a ton of funny moments and some oddly relate-able moments!
Jingle All the Way brings to life what we think it would be like to have Arnold Schwarzenegger as a dad and what every parent feels like trying to find the perfect gift for their kid.
A spin on the classic Christmas Carol, this movie is a comedy filled Christmas story that is unique with a great cast.
Office Christmas Party has a cast that you would actually like to party with. Every scene has a funny moment, or awkward one with a lot of adult humor.
We are all thinking about it…giving up the holidays and going on a cruise! Anyone? Christmas with the Kranks is a funny tale of a couple who almost got away with doing just that.
A favorite classic that humbles your soul for the holidays.
We watch these movies every year and add to the list every year. We have made it one of our traditions and both look forward to starting our holiday marathon!
